SHOULD we be pleased that a “stable government” is being guaranteed by Theresa May by an alliance with the Democratic Unionist Party?
Many DUP members are apparently homophobic, anti-women’s rights, generally illiberal and anti-Catholic.
I don’t want to be governed or dictated to by 17th Century thinking, especially as the co-operation will come with funding from central sources going to Northern Ireland, money that our area desperately needs as well.
