Former Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne
WELL done to Chris Lloyd for a succinct article in Saturday’s Echo on the general election, “A race which everyone lost”.
Given the result, I wonder if George Osborne now regrets his decision not to stand. Had he done so, he would now surely have been in a prime position to replace Mrs May.
