AS my book, A Passion For Home, the official history of Arngrove Northern League Division Two outfit Esh Winning Football Club, is nearing completion, could I make a final appeal to readers of The Northern Echo for information, statistics, photographs, etc, in particular covering the club's tenure in the Durham and District Sunday League (1969 to 1981) and the Northern League (1982 to present day).
Also, I am due to begin writing another two books for which I would like the assistance of readers.
Rostrons Re-united is the official history of Arngrove Northern League Division Two outfit Brandon United Football Club; A Passion For Home 2 is the official history of Readers Durham County Cricket League outfit Esh Winning Cricket Club.
Both are being compiled in conjunction with the respective clubs. Again, any provision of information, statistics, photographs, etc, will be gratefully appreciated.
Finally, if there are any clubs or leagues in the region approaching an anniversary, or would just like their history in print, then please contact me at winning2005@hotmail.co.uk or on 07944-412699 or at the address below.
