PEOPLE were surprised when the House of Commons passed the bill that would exclude MPs from the Freedom of Information Act.
We will be equally surprised, I assume, when they pass a Road Pricing Charges Bill which means that MPs will claim even more expenses.
I wonder if we will be just as surprised when, on July 1, the smoking ban in public places comes into force and there are designated areas in the House of Commons where the ban will not apply?
