IT'S becoming the bane of our lives.
Recently, the limit to how much junk the Royal Mail is allowed to deliver has been relaxed, so we are now being deluged with the stuff.
With councils around the country considering charging households for rubbish disposal based on weight, why should we pay to dispose of this junk?
I urge all who are sick of junk mail to take action. Because Royal Mail delivers it, it is obviously classed as mail, therefore why not just put it back in the nearest post box?
If Royal Mail gets paid to deliver it, then it can afford to dispose of it too. If enough of us do this, maybe it'll get the message and rethink its policies.
As for the other junk mail from credit card vendors, loan companies, etc, why not just swap the return envelopes and mail the junk back to them?
If the return envelopes aren't prepaid, then just don't affix a stamp. The company in receipt will be forced to pay for postage if it wants to receive its reply, only to find it contains junk mail from another direct mailing company.
