BEWARE, Sam Allardyce. Your standing in the game of football is about to go into free fall. Yes, the Newcastle United manager's job has seen off so many big names from the world of football.
Take Kenny Dalglish. He won everything with Liverpool as a player and then the Premiership as manager with Blackburn, but he failed with the Newcastle job as did Sir Bobby Robson. The list of names goes on.
The job has become a poisoned chalice. No matter how much money has been spent, success has failed to follow. If you worked out how much Newcastle have spent in the last decade it is way beyond what teams like Arsenal have spent.
Sorry, Sam. Hope you prove me wrong, but if recent history is anything to go by you're heading for the scrap heap.
