IMAGINE how it would feel to be dumped, not once, but three times, simply because no one had bothered to find out why you were hurting.
Such was the fate of Fandango, a beautiful long-haired tabby cat.
Twice he was taken to an animal sanctuary, and because he was unpredictable and aggressive he was deemed unhomeable. Because Farplace Animal Rescue has a reputation for dealing with difficult cats, we were asked to take him, but were warned that he would probably never be friendly.
We never give up on an animal, and asked our vet to have a look at him. It was found that his ears were in such bad condition that it was no wonder he was "difficult".
He has lived in constant pain for a long time, and needs an expensive operation in the near future.
We need your help to get Fandango the operation he so desperately needs.
Please send donations to us at Farplace Animal Rescue, Sidehead, Westgate, Co Durham, DL13 1LE or visit www.farplace.co.uk to give this lovely animal a pain-free future.
Any donations raised over the cost of his operation will go towards looking after the other animals in our care.
Jan Edwards, Head of Animal Care, Farplace Animal Rescue.
