FURTHER to Comeback Idol (HAS, Mar 6), Al Jolson, although not listed in the film credits, appeared in The Jolson Story of 1946. He can be seen in the long shot of the Swanee number. Al also appeared in the sequel Jolson Sings Again of 1949.
During the filming of The Jolson Story which appears in the sequel, there is a man standing watching in a grey cowboy hat. This is Jolson.
