The size of toilet paper
I MUST agree with Ken Russell, of Thornaby (HAS, Mar 17) about the size of toilet paper.
When I read VJ Connor's letter I made the comment to my wife that a toilet roll was not 15cm wide (six inches in old money) in the first place.
The product we use is made by the same manufacturer that makes the paper (with the puppies on) and to be sure I have just measured the one now in use.
It is 10.5cm wide (too much trouble to measure the length).
I really must get a life.
