ED MILIBAND is worried about his approval ratings.
Trust would improve if he showed some recognition of Labour’s past mistakes and apologised for them.
Mistakes such as increasing our national debt by spending our money like there’s no tomorrow and for not turning back a few of those enterprise crippling EU regulations.
For pretending to be a socialist party, yet pandering to the convenience of the CBI with its enthusiasm for immigration to keep wages down as jobs become harder to find.
I could add to the list if there was room here. Starting a war without proper justification would have to come top of the list for me.
Finally, Mr Miliband would increase his popularity by showing us respect.
If he truly believes that we belong in the EU then tell us why.
Do not expect us to accept that ‘he knows best’ or that the issues are too difficult for us to under-stand.
We have just been reminded what previous generations went through to keep us free from oppression. Have we really sunk so low that we don’t deserve to hear both sides and be asked what we want in an EU referendum?
