WHEN I read the report (Echo, June 25) that the Ritz Cinema, in Thirsk, would be screening classic films with a cycling theme ahead of the Tour de France Grande Depart, an old favourite came to mind.
A Boy, a Girl and a Bike, starring John MacAllam and Honor Blackman, is a British comedy from the 1940s. Oh for the chance to watch that again.
