WE would like to extend our thanks to members of the public who donated funds at the Dogs’ Trust event held in Darlington town centre, on May 29 and 30.
It was fantastic to see so many supporters interested in re-homing dogs and keen to know more about the charity’s work.
Founded in 1891, Dogs Trust (formerly the National Canine Defence League) is the largest dog welfare charity in the UK.
Our mission is to bring about the day when all dogs can enjoy a happy life, free from the threat of unnecessary destruction.
Each year we care for around 16,000 dogs at our nationwide network of 18 Rehoming Centres.
No healthy dog is ever destroyed.
We raised a total of £91.34 which will go towards the care of the many dogs awaiting new homes at our 19 re-homing centres across the UK.
Laura Nicholas, Dogs Trust.
