IF anyone discriminated on grounds of colour, race, gender or sexuality they would be rightly brought to book, but it appears certain people are free to castigate that last great unprotected group – those who dare to have a conservative outlook on life.
John Gilmour (HAS, Feb 15) thinks it perfectly acceptable punishment that the floods have affected the South because people down there most probably voted Tory.
This is a truly shocking mindset – and one that won’t be restricted to Mr Gilmour among the more rampant Left.
