THE Liberal Democratic Party is in electoral free fall at the moment.
They have been part of a coalition strategy of austerity which has not worked. Even when improved forecasts and levels of employment are taken into account, the economic improvement so far reported is unbalanced and unsustainable.
Voters feeling the austerity will blame the Liberal Democrats for it as much as they blame the Conservatives G Bulmer, Billingham.
