THE gay marriage debate has really caused a stir amongst the Tory hierarchy bringing out a delegation of Tory chairman from the well-heeled home counties.
It’s good to see where their priorities lie.
During the same week the dear old Ark Royal was towed indignantly to a breakers yard in Turkey and the bedroom tax for council house tenants drove a poor woman to suicide.
Not to mention our RAF search-and-rescue lads being told the Sea King helicopters are being scrapped and their 70 years of saving lives in all weathers has been contracted out to an American firm called Bristows.
You could not make it up, could you?
