WELL done to Ronnie O’Sullivan for winning yet another snooker championship (Echo, May 6).
This win was even more remarkable considering he has not played in any other major tournaments for a year.
He is, in my opinion, the greatest snooker player to have held a cue and also the most entertaining to watch.
Some might disagree and say that Steve Davis or Steven Henry have won more titles then Ronnie, but for pure natural ability and entertainment value Ronnie is the player for me.
I just wish he would make his mind up about retiring as he has made more comebacks than Frank Sinatra.
Snooker on TV is not the same if Ronnie is not playing as far too many players are dull and boring to watch.
A bit more passion, and a smile once in a while, wouldn’t go amiss. It’s like watching robots play.
I know no one can be as quick and as good as O’Sullivan in potting the balls, but please try and be a bit more entertaining and stop me falling asleep.
Mick Peacock, Coxhoe.
