THE Association of British Insurers is cracking down on fraudulent whiplash cases supposedly caused in car accidents (Echo, 14 Mar).
I think it’s about time because this scam is costing motorists dearly.
I think everyone who claims to be in agony from a whiplash injury should be sent for a MRI scan. If they have nothing wrong with their necks, they should be made to pay for the scan which I believe costs thousands of pounds.
Then we’ll see how many have bad necks because these scans show every little detail.
I should know. I’ve had an MRI scan and I’ve got a picture to prove it.
