MY first attempt at collecting for charity – Clic Sergant for children with cancer – was on Saturday at Sainsbury’s in Yarm.

I was overwhelmed by the generosity of the public, and kindness of the staff as they performed their duties in the store.

Thank you to everyone who donated to this special charity and to all the staff for making it such a happy day.

Most importantly, the donations will help make a difference to children and young people.
