D HARRISON criticised Darlington Borough Council’s plan to introduce wheelie bins (HAS, Dec 1). In my opinion he has hit the nail on the head.
Wheelie bins are a waste of money. They are totally unsuitable for some premises.
As for the re-development of the town’s bus station site, the people I have spoken to all seem of the same opinion. The money could be better spent. Who will be able to afford to use these new amenities?
