MARGARET WALKER, of Shildon, received a £60 fine after her parking ticket was blown off her car dashboard (Echo, Oct 22).
The ticket was blown away when she closed the car door while parked at the University of Hospital of North Durham.
The lady appealed to the security firm which manages the car park, sending a photocopy of the ticket as proof of purchase.
But alas the company would not budge.
So there you go.
I wonder if the man in charge ever loses sleep or just dreams of his next victim?
Steve Shields, Saltburn.
