REGARDING Harry Mead’s column (Echo, Oct 24) about Felix Baumgartner, the Austrian skydiver who launched himself from the edge of space to set a new free fall record this month (Echo, Oct 15).
Mr Baumgartner’s balloon and capsule came back down to earth about a hour after he did and was recovered to be used again.
