Penny Lancaster recently became the third wife of 62-year-old rocker Rod Stewart. The couple married in a private ceremony in Italy and hosted a party in London attended by five of Rod's children, Kimberly, 27, Ruby, 20, Renee, 15

How would you describe your style?

Glamorous, sporty and casual.

Have you ever had a fashion disaster?

On the opening night of 'Tonight's The Night', I was attending with Rod and I wanted to make a real statement and felt like a fun night out. I had my hair spiked and crimped and wore this short but high neck dress with horizontal transparent stripes across the back... It revealed a lot more than I thought it should have.

What do you consider to be your best fashion moment?

I was attending a red carpet event in New York and wore this beautiful, long, silver grey Roberto Cavalli dress. The dress was a bustier design with pearl and bead detail and a billowing chiffon skirt. It really was gorgeous.

What items would you save from a burning house?

I would have to grab the jewels, just for the sentimental value and my photo collection.

Do you follow a beauty/fitness regime?

Aside from cleanse, tone, moisturise - I like to keep hydrated as I travel a lot, it's so important. I try to drink plenty of water and vegetable juices, which are really oxygenating. Alongside a cardio combo of cycling, circuit training and treadmill, I also undertake weight-bearing exercise, which lays down calcium in the bones.

Would you ever have cosmetic surgery?

Never say never, but I wouldn't want to change anything, just put back what I had to begin with.

What would be your one beauty/fitness tip?

I'd recommend drinking plenty of vegetable juices, in particular celery, carrot and apple juices, as these are exceptionally oxygenating. Also, weight-bearing exercise, which is really great to help build strong bones, especially for women suffering with the onset of osteoporosis.

Who is your favourite fashion designer?

Roberto Cavalli and Dolce & Gabbana.

Designer, high street or mail order?

I like to mix my style up although I'll always love designer looks. After working with Grattan on the autumn/winter Today's Woman range, my catalogue shopping will definitely increase. It's a versatile collection that looks great dressed down for daytime but can be vamped up for the evening.

Which is your favourite piece from the Grattan collection?

I thought the whole collection was really nice, perfect for the party season but in particular loved the embellished vest and the satin blouse with jewel buttons.

What type of music do you enjoy listening to?

It really depends on what time of day it is. If I'm getting ready to go out, I like to listen to some classic disco or club music, but I'll listen to anything from classical music, standards and Motown right though to George Michael, Lionel Richie, Simply Red, Whitney, and Rod Stewart (of course).

What are your plans for the remainder of 2007?

Being mum, touring with Rod on his world tour, the occasional modelling and photography job, and hopefully another baby later this year.

Do you still practise photography?

Yes, professionally and personally. I recently featured my work at the Ariel photography exhibition and also photographed numerous celebs with their pets for a PDSA charity 2007 calendar. Most of the celebs were photographed in their own homes and included Sir Elton John, Simon Cowell, Rod Stewart, Lulu and Frankie Dettori.

What makes you happy?

Being with my man, baby, family and friends.
