IN a converted warehouse in the East End of London, eight people come together to take part in Britain’s first amateur hairdressing competition called – what else? – Hair. Over six weeks they face a series of challenges which will test their skills to the limit.
Judge Denise McAdam has more than three decades experience styling Royal hair, while globetrotting styler Alain Pichon, whose clients include David Beckham, will also be giving his opinion on the wannabe superstar snippers.
Looking more at home here than he did on the first series of The X Factor USA, host Steve Jones guides us, and the nervous competitors through the proceedings.
Their first challenge? A hairstyle with a quiff.
