IN Births, Deaths and Marriages the team is preparing to leave the register office and move all its records from Old Marylebone Town Hall to three different venues across London. That means packing up more than 100 years worth of historical records, including Oscar Wilde’s marriage certificate, Florence Nightingale’s death certificate and the birth certificates for Romeo and Brooklyn Beckham.

Meanwhile, head registrar Alison has her hands full. She’s had to stop a wedding after discovering the bridegroom is already married after drunkenly tying the knot in Las Vegas 20 years ago.

Kerry Cosgrove is on one of her regular visits to Westminster Register Office.

It’s her job to register the deaths of people who have no family, and cameras follow her to the home of a man in his sixties who has recently died.
