I’VE been hearing on the TV news that the Government is considering reducing next year’s 8.5 per cent pension increase.
I would give those whose sole income is a state pension the full rise, but reduce it to, say, 6.5 per cent for those lucky enough to have other incomes like works pensions.
I am fortunate to have a forces pension which increases each year.
So I count myself lucky. I think it only fair that I don’t get the same increase as others, if that makes sense.
Answers on a postcard please.
