WATCHING the television coverage of the flooding in the South of England I noticed that one of the ITV correspondents is called Dan Rivers.
A somewhat appropriate name under the circumstances.
Several years ago there was an outbreak of cattle disease in North Yorkshire and the story was covered by Rachel Bullock.
No doubt, there have been many other examples of unfortunate names over the years.
