TRAIN services were cancelled this morning after concerns were raised about the welfare of man on a bridge over the railway in Darlington.
LNER warned of major delays on some routes with cancellations, delays and revised routes until about noon.
The railway bridge at Haughton Road was closed by police from about 8.30am.

The alarm was raised at 7.55am and the scene was attended by Durham Constabulary and North East Ambulance Service.
The ambulance service said there were concerns for a man’s welfare and he was given ‘appropriate treatment’.
National Rail Enquiries' Journey Planner show trains running through the station as normal now.
