A 16-YEAR-OLD boy and 16-year-old girl were threatened by a robber who took their mobile phones.
The pair was in the Market Place, North Ormesby, Middlesbrough, at about 12.45pm on Tuesday, February 4 when a man approached them.
The youngsters believed the robber had a weapon when he threatened and took a Samsung Galaxy S4 and made off along Cromwell Street towards West Terrace.

STAGE SHOW: Auditions are being held for an amateur production of The Sound of Music in Eaglescliffe, near Stockton, tomorrow, Friday, February 7. CAR COLLISION: Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision involving three vehicles. The collision happened at around 5.45pm on Wednesday, February 5 on the A178 Tees Road close to the entrance to Abel UK near Port Clarence, north of Middlesbrough, and involved an Audi A4, a Ford Focus and a Volkswagen Golf. The 60-year-old male driver of the Volkswagen Golf suffered a fractured breast bone in the incident and was taken to the University Hospital of North Tees for treatment.
