A TEENAGER has been rewarded with a computer by his teachers for not skipping school.
A raffle was held at Prior Pursglove College in Guisborough to recognise excellent attendance with an iPad as its top prize.
AS level student Keiran Weyer, 17, from Skelton, east Cleveland, who has achieved 100 per cent attendance in geography, geology and statistics lessons, had his name picked out of a hat.
Prior Pursglove College Principal Judy Burton said, “Rewarding attendance is very appropriate because not only is it directly linked with achieving excellent results, it also demonstrates dedication which I think is all we can ask of our students and is such a crucial factor when moving on to university.”
