A19 RESURFACING: Work to resurface the A19 southbound carriageway between the A1027 and A1046 Portrack Interchanges, near Stockton, will take place from Sunday, June 9 and last for four weeks. The work will be carried out overnight, Sunday to Friday nights only, between 8pm and 6am. During the day a 50mph speed limit will remain in place for safety reasons as traffic will be running on a temporary road surface. There will be diversion routes in place during the work.

STAGE PLAY: The Nunthorpe Players’ next production will be A Matter of Life and Death, a play specially adapted from the wonderful Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger 1946 film starring David Niven and Kim Hunter. Performances are from Tuesday, June 11 to Saturday 15 at 7.30pm at St Mary’s Church Hall, Morton Carr Lane, Nunthorpe, near Middlesbrough.
