SENIOR CITIZENS: Advice and information for older people will be available at an event in Middlesbrough this week. The town’s Senior Citizens’ Forum is bringing together more than 20 agencies to offer advice and guidance to help older people maintain their independence. The event takes place from 9.30am on Wednesday, June 5 in Teesside University’s Centuria Building in Victoria Road and all are welcome.
CYCLING LEGEND: The inaugural Saltburn (CORR) BicycleBash, taking place on Sunday, June 30, will see Scottish racing cyclist Graeme Obree “The Flying Scotsman” round off the event with a talk on his achievements, such as being a multiple World Champion and World record holder.
