YOUTH ARRESTED: A 17-year-old local man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted robbery following an incident on Stanley Grove in Redcar on Saturday, June 1. A 52-year-old man suffered injuries to his hand and face in the incident, as he made his way home from a night out in Redcar at around 2.10am. Anyone with information is asked to contact Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800-555-111.
TREE IDENTIFICATION: There is a free tree identification practical workshop being run by Grahma Banwell of iSpot (CORR) at the Cleveland Ironstone Mining Museum, Deepdale, Skinningrove, east Cleveland, from 9am to noon on Friday June 7. The workshop will cover basic skills so no previous knowledge is required. Spaces are limited so booking is required by calling 01287-642877.
