STOLEN GOODS: A number of power tools have been recovered from an address on Chaucer Avenue, Hartlepool, that are believed to be stolen. A 60-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle and a 59-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods. They both remain in custody. As part of Cleveland Police’s enquiries officers have also seized a white Transit van from the address.

BENEFITS ADVICE: Experts will be on hand to offer advice and information on welfare reform and money matters at a Benefit Advice Day next week. CANNABIS RAID: Officers from Loftus Neighbourhood Policing Team recovered 250 cannabis plants with a potential street value of £100,000 address in Coronation Street, Carlin How, east Cleveland. Three people found inside the address were arrested and subsequently bailed for further enquiries. Anyone with any information regarding drugs misuse in the Carlin How area are asked to contact PC Adrian Berryman at Cleveland Police via 101.
