YOUNG people with disabilities are being offered the chance to try football and other sports at a series of Saturday sessions. Run by Hartlepool Council’s Sport and Recreation Team in conjunction with Hartlepool Families First and funded through the Short Breaks Fund, the sessions are every Saturday during term time from 11am to 1pm at Brierton Sports Centre in Brierton Lane. SPRING FAIR: A spring fair will be held at St Francis Parish Church in Ingleby Barwick, Stockton, on Saturday, May 18 between 2pm and 4pm. There will be various stalls including books, CDs and DVDs as well as a tombola, crafts and games. All money raised will go to church funds.
