A man was taken to hospital suffering from neck and back injuries after driving into a parked car on Mitchell Avenue, Thornaby, Stockton, this afternoon (SUN). Two crews from Thornaby Fire Station and an emergency engine from Stockton Fire Station called to the scene at 4.20pm. The injured driver was cut free from his car by firefighters and taken to hospital by ambulance.
