As part of the Middlesbrough Pride celebrations, mima modern art gallery is holding a life drawing class featuring a clothed transgender model on Thursday, September 12, between 5.45pm and 6.45pm. the session costs £3.50.

NORMANBY HISTORY: Sylvia Fairbrass will be giving a talk on the Parrington's of Normanby at the next meeting of Normanby Local History Group. She has researched this topic extensively and will be wearing a copy of a period costume she made herself. The talk will cover the rise and fall of Joseph Parrington through the eyes of his wife Elizabeth. The free talk is being on Wednesday, May 22, at 1.30pm at the Methodist Church in Cleveland Street, Normanby.

SPRING FAIR: St Francis Parish Church in Ingleby Barwick, Stockton, is hosting a spring fair on Saturday between 2pm and 4pm. There will be a stalls selling cakes music CDs and film DVDs. There will also be crafts and games with all money going towards church funds.
