AWARENESS DAY: A number of agencies including Carers Together; Coast & Country Housing; Clevearc, Alzheimers Society and Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council have come together to host a dementia awareness raising day on Tuesday, May 21 between 11am and 3pm at Skelton Civic Centre, Coniston Road, Skelton for residents. RESIDENTS’ SURVEY: Hartlepool residents who have recently received a copy of the Household Survey form have been urged to complete and return it if they want to influence local public services. The survey has been posted out to a random sample of households across the borough and people have until May 31 to complete and return the form.
BAG A BARGAIN: A jumble sale will be held at the Church of Ascension on Penrith Road, Berwick Hill, Middlesbrough, on Tueday from 4.30pm.
HELPING GROWTH: A cheque for £150 has been presented to Redcar in Bloom by the local branch of Santander bank. Redcar in Bloom is looking for volunteers to help work on enhancing the town. For further information call Jane Tombling on 07980-154321.
