After the game, Ireland coach Andy Farrell said, "10 points down after six minutes certainly wasn't in the script" but praised his team for "the character, the guts, the fitness levels, the want, to go out and play and get back in the game."

With France now sitting pretty at the top of the table, England and Italy will need to pull out all the stops to make a comeback from this one.
Despite losing to Wales today, Scotland still appear above Wales thanks to a bonus point.
Ireland are currently in second.

Completing the Round 2 Six Nations games, England will go head-to-head with Italy on Sunday at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
