Bonfire Night is almost here and there's only one thing on everyone's mind: fireworks.

With bright colours sparkling in the sky and the smoky comfort of a bonfire, many of us will be hoping to host their own spectacular.

But which supermarkets are selling fireworks and sparklers this year?

Here's what you need to know...

List of supermarkets selling fireworks

Aldi

Aldi is stocking a number of different fireworks this year - including the new 'low noise' range.

A small number of sparklers, rockets and spinning fireworks are available under the Aldi special buys range - but stock is limited.

Like most supermarkets, fireworks will only be in select stores while availability will also vary.

Aldi previously said it will be rolling out deals over the next few days - so keep an eye out for special buys.

Morrisons

You can buy fireworks in store at select Morrisons stores until November 7.

The Morrisons range has 'display' sized packs by the pop-up, Direct Fireworks.

Types of fireworks include 'Nitro', 'Demon', 'Monster' and 'Goliath'.

Lidl 

Lidl is selling fireworks this year with staff available in-store to show you to the store's full supply.

It is worth checking with your local store as fireworks will only be sold in select stores.

The supermarket has different sized selection boxes, sparklers, rockets and red arrows. 

Tesco

Tesco is continuing to sell fireworks in-store this year.

Like Aldi, the supermarket will also offer 'low noise' fireworks - designed to make Bonfire Night less stressful for our beloved pets.

Selected stores are stocked up family-favourites like sparklers from £1 as well as themed selection boxes.

Asda

Asda has a selection of 'low noise' fireworks on sale.

The selection will be available in store in selected stores only until November 10.

This is subject to availability, a spokesperson said.

An Asda spokesperson said: "We know that many of our customers love fireworks, but we also know that some customers and their pets don’t like the noise, which is why this year we have launched a collection of low noise fireworks so that everyone can still enjoy the show."

Which supermarkets have decided not to sell fireworks this year?

Sainsbury's

Sainsbury’s has confirmed that it will not be bringing back fireworks for Bonfire Night this year.

The supermarket announced all 2,300 UK stores would stop selling fireworks back in 2019.

The decision is said to have been made due to “concerns over pet safety”.

Co-op

Supermarket chain Co-Op has said it has not sold firework products for the past five year and has no plans to bring them back.
