HBO has confirmed a release date for Sex and the City reboot And Just Like That..., which is coming to HBO Max later this year.
The highly-anticipated series will arrive back on screens years in December with ten episodes, 11 years after the Sex and the City 2 film was released.
It will feature original cast members Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthian Nixon and Kristin Davies, alongside Grey's Anatomy star Sara Ramírez who plays a non-binary, queer, stand-up comedian that hosts a podcast on which Carrie Bradshaw is regularly featured.
The release date was announced on social media by Parker with teasers from the series filming in New York.
Kim Catrall, who played blonde bombshell Samatha Jones, will not be returning to the series after a rumoured feud with Parker.
The series follows the three best friends as they navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s.
HBO Max is not currently available on any TV or streaming service in the UK.
Sky and HBO have a deal that allows Sky to broadcast its programmes exclusively, so it is likely that Sky will show And Just Like That... when it comes out in the US.
