A PRISONER has been missing from a semi-open prison since September, police have revealed.
Cleveland Police said John Henry Swales had breached the terms of his licence after absconding from Kirklevington Prison, in Yarm, two months ago.
The 23-year-old was jailed for burglary in 2016 and it is believed he could be anywhere in the country.
A spokesman said: "Officers continue to carry out enquiries to locate him and are appealing for help from the public.”
- Anyone who has seen Swales or has information about his whereabouts should contact Sergeant Louise Sproson from Cleveland Police on the non-emergency number 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
