THE LONG NEWTON History Group will hold a World War II evening from 7pm on Wednesday, October 24 in The Wilson Centre, Darlington Road, Long Newton. The evening will feature a discussion about the defences of Teesside, demonstrations of weaponry and a performance by The Blitz Sisters. Entry for non-members is £3.
