A TOWN centre will be transformed by exotic smells, tastes and sights from around the globe as it hosts its first World Market.
From 11am to 7pm on Friday, Stockton High Street will be brought alive by traders selling an international array of clothing, homewares, cooking ingredients, crafts and more.
And with a strong focus on food from around the world, people will be able to sample some of the stallholders' tasty treats.
Chairwoman of Stockton Town Team, Joanna Wake, said: "Street food is really popular at the moment and this will be the perfect opportunity for a tasty lunch and a wander around with office colleagues and, since it doesn't finish until 7pm, it's absolutely ideal or for a late afternoon meet-up with friends or tea with the kids."
