YOUNGSTERS have been working with an artist to help to create artwork to decorate Redcar seafront.
Sculptor Ian Randall visited Zetland Primary School to help provide some inspiration for the pupils.
The renowned artist is about to start work on two installations that will form part of the town's sea defence's work and redevelopment of the promenade area.
Councillor Mark Hannon, Redcar Borough Council's cabinet member for economic development, said: "The new seafront artwork will be a real feature on the promenade and has been inspired by the town's famous steelmaking traditions as well as the wonderful natural environment.
"The workshops are a chance for local people to get involved and find out more about what is being planned to revive the seafront."
