A DOZEN teachers have been showing off their facial hair as their school takes part in a day-long Movember fundraising event.
The 12 teachers from Northfield School, Stockton, have been growing moustaches since the start of the month to raise awareness of the Prostate Cancer Charity.
And pupils were encouraged to paint or stick on a fake moustache for a 50p donation to the charity and the school even changed its crest from "Many minds, one heart" to "Many tashes, one charity".
Allan Bimson, head of year nine, said: "We had a great day and all the students have enjoyed themselves.
"We were selling false moustaches for the students to buy and many came to school with fake ones already painted on. As well as having fun, we talked to the students about men's health and the work of the charity."
