A CAREER in television is beckoning for a talented design graduate who has built up an enviable portfolio of jobs on the small screen.
Rebecca Watson, 20, who studied at Cleveland College of Art and Design in Middlesbrough, has already secured work on the hit Children's BBC series Tracy Beaker, BBC crime drama George Gently and Channel 4's teen soap, Hollyoaks.
She said: "I used to watch Tracy Beaker as a child and I could not believe it when they phoned me to offer me the experience, it was just amazing.
"I was so pleased because, when I worked on George Gently, I tried hard to build up contacts and it has really paid off.
"When I look back, I cannot believe the exciting opportunities I have had. It is fantastic and I am learning so much about the industry."
Miss Watson, from Middlesbrough, said: "I worked a lot putting props out and checking on the monitor for continuity in scene changes to make sure the sets and costumes stayed the same."
