A PENSIONER suffered a shattered elbow after being involved in a collision with a car while walking her dog.
Cleveland Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which involved a 65-year-old woman and a blue Vauxhall Astra in Stockton Road, Hartlepool, near the junction with Queensland Road, on Tuesday, at about 6.30pm.
The woman was taken to the University Hospital of North Tees in Stockton, where she was treated for a shattered elbow, a broken shoulder blade and bruising to the right side of her face and her leg.
