A PENSIONER was taken to hospital after his car crashed into the wall of a doctor's surgery.
The car was embedded in the side of the Parkway Medical Centre, in Coulby Newham, Middlesbrough, shortly before 4pm on Tuesday.
The man, who has not been named, but is believed to be in his 80s, was taken to The James Cook University Hospital, in Middlesbrough.
His injuries are not known.
No one else was hurt in the incident and the medical centre remained open.
Police are investigating the incident and structural engineers have been called to assess the damage.
