MORE than 200 schoolchildren across Teesside have been taking part in behavioural and motivational workshops.
Representatives of Humanutopia, which runs intensive programmes of behavioural intervention, spent Wednesday working alongside the pupils at Teesside University.
They held a conference during which they looked at the role of higher education in the our lives.
Graham Moore, business partner in Humanutopia, said: "Our work is based around the life-changing Heroes Journey.
"This seeks to help young people gain confidence and inspiration in order to create astrong future for themselves.
"Humanutopia designs, develops and runs a series of powerful school-based workshops which help to motivate young people and adults working in schools in order to reflect and improve on their current attitudes and behaviours."
Lynn Parker, director of educational partnerships at the university, said: "Over the past seven years' Humanutopia has established a successful record of working intensively with school pupils to help change attitudes and cultures. This conference really brings us all together with our common goals of raising achievement and aspirations."
