HUNDREDS of school pupils have taken part in an event to encourage them to be more active.
The Junior Health Festival, which was held at the Unity City Academy, in Middlesbrough, saw primary school pupils from the east of the town enjoy a variety of sports and other health-related activities, including dancing, spinning and computerised games.
They also took part in a series of challenges relating to raising awareness of the issues surrounding drugs and smoking.
